Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue editors made their way to Miami Beach for Swim Week 2018 for the first time to host an open casting call at the W Resort South Beach where swimsuit model hopefuls were seen by top models including Christie Brinkley, Kate Upton and Olivia Culpo. Brinkley, Upton, Culpo and several other Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girls and swim suit models provided professional modeling tips and just like that new models were selected to appear in the Sports Illustrated Annual Swimsuit Issue and walk the runway for top swim suit brands at the W Resort.
Sports Illustrated’s annual Swimsuit Issue has also played a big part in launching the careers of dozens of top fashion, swim wear and Victoria’s Secret models including Paulina Porizkova, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Daniela Pestova, Rachel Hunter, Stephanie Seymour, Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson, Kathy Ireland, Carol Alt, Rebecca Romjin, Irina Shayk, Rachel Hunter, Vita Sidorkina, Elsa Benitez, Chrissy Teigen, Bridget Hall, Claudia Schiffer, Cindy Crawford and Bar Rafaeli.
